What is Forbes?

Forbes is a USA based Publishing and Media Company. It publishes a very famous bi-weekly journal with the name of Forbes. Forbes Magazine is famous for its lists e.g. World’s Billionaires List, World’s Most Powerful People, 100 Most Powerful Women, Largest Private Companies….

Forbes magazine was started in 1917 by B.C. Forbes and now Steve Forbes is the Editor-in Chief of Forbes.

World’s Billionaires List/ Rich List

Forbes has recently published a list of 1210 Richest Person of World in its World’s Billionaires List. These 1210 Billionaires belong to 55 countries/states of the world. Forbes has ranked them from 1 to 1140.

1. Accumulative Wealth of 1210 Billionaires
   is 4.5trillion US Dollar.
2. World’s Richest Person is Carlos Slim Helu from Mexico and his total assets are US$74 billion.
3. Bill Gates (Microsoft) and Warren Buffet (Berkshire Hathaway) come in second and third on the list.
4. USA is on the top of the list country with 408 Billionaires.
5. 332 Billionaires belong to Asia and 300 to Europe.
6. Russian Capital Moscow is top of the list city with 79 Billionaires.
7. China has 115 Billionaires.
8. India has 57 Billionaires.
9. Mark Zuckerberg (26 years) and Dustin Moskovitz (26 years) are the Youngest Billionaires of World with 13.5billion and 2.7billion US Dollars respectively. Both of these two belongs to the famous social network, Facebook
10. Walter Haefner is the oldest Richest Person of World. He belongs to Switzerland and has assets of 4 billion US$ at the age of 100 years. He belongs to Software Industry.
11. 4 Billionaires are in the age of 93 years, total 11 persons are of more than 90 years, total 6 persons are of less than 30 years.
